1. Discussing Hudson (Crisis magazine-on C-Span Wed I think).
Hudson attacked Dionne because he dared criticize Hudson as a mouthpiece for Bush, I think.

2. The communion issue is a religious issue and should not be used
in politics (he asks what about the church's position on war and social justice?)

10. Freep caller earns
today's wacko call. Kept shouting "Clinton is the scum of the earth." This is our opponent, people. Irrational. Doesn't have a clue of world events. But can scream about Clinton all day long. Probably doesn't miss Rush's show. Ever. When did being rightwing require losing most of your brain cells? The callers from the right are increasingly shrill and emotional without substance or reason.

12. He says that Edwards's formulation of two Americas is on point.
McCain is also good. But he does not want to endorse anybody. He likes Kerry, of course.

14. Caller: Kerry and other such Catholics are cafeteria Catholics.
He takes communion in other churches, he is for abortion, etc. etc.
Dionne says a lot of conservatives are cafeteria Catholics (death penalty, and social justice issues)

16. He has criticized Bush; he likes the idea of Air America because
it is a reaction of the liberals when they decided to stop being wimps.
