Our "body language" president...
has repeatedly referenced the importance of this angle in deciphering true meaning. If this be the case, the TV bits I've seen of his photo-op with the Pope are clearly indicative of his intense dislike for said Pope. Stiff, erect, defensive posture throughout. Forced, sustained blank expression. Stiff movements while maintaining maximum possible distance when performing traditional "abeyances." Shrub is a born-again evangelical protestant something-or-other. This group is pretty consistent across the board in viewing the Catholic Pope as the most likely reprenstative of the anti-Christ (if not the anti-Christ himself). I have no religious affiliation myself, but I am ever mindful of the fact that - for "true" believers - religion IS politics, whether Christian or Muslim or Hindu or... ad nauseum...

This is what makes impossible civilised, humane discourse on human affairs.

2. Thanks
This is a good neighborhood. I will contribute $ as soon as circumstances permit.

This is the single most important election season of my lifetime. And I'll be 51 this month!

As Patti Smith said so many years ago, "We created it, let's take it over."

10. Whenever
he's delivering one of his telepromptered "speeches" educating the unwashed masses on his absolute truths. Those endless smirks after enumerating each lie that us poor ignorant sheeple just "don't get" are sincere, the real deal. The appearance with the Pope was something his handlers declared politically expedient. After all, so many Catholic bishops this year are willing to ignore the church's views against capital punishment and war in general to actively campaign for Shrub solely on the abortion and gay marriage issues. But you know - in his heart - he has to believe that Catholicism is a false religion. Protestantism, let alone evangelical protestantism, does not exist without this premise.

12. I'm sure there is a little
tension after all * is the most powerful man on earth, He is a war pResident and Jesus talks directly to him and the Pope is only the head of the Catholic religion. I'm sure the Chimp feels the Pope should be the one on his knees and kissing his hand!

13. Bush* is resentful... To him, the Pope should be "bowing to him."
Bush* defines the word NARCISSIST
