I debated voting for Nader because I live in Ma,a "safe state",but just couldn't bring myself to risk it.
I'm voting for Kerry in November, but after that I'll probably be done with the Democratic Party.

12. If he suprises me we'll see what happens |
|
but after watching the Party slowly shift rightward over the last decade my expectations are low.Once Kerry is in it's not a matter of me giving him a chance.Either he'll impress me enough to reconsider or he wont. That's up to him though, not me.

13. I voted for Gore because I hated Bush! |
|
I must admit, I wasn't really that excited about Gore, but I hated the Bush machine since they first started arrogantly bragging, even before the actual campaign began, that he had sooo much $$ he couldn't lose!
I happen to think Gore is a much better speaker now than he ever was during the Campaign.
I guess I'd make a lousy politician, because I would love to hear what the candidates really feel! NO pandering! No begging! And forget worrying so much about "the base"! Just tell me what you believe, what you'd propose, and then I'll decide.
I'm sorry to have to say it, but pandering is about all I remember in EVERY election, going back YEARS!
I think that's why you hear so many people say they are always voting for the lesser of 2 bad. They vote for the one they dislike the least instead of voting for someone they believe in.
