Rush broadcast in Iraq - because "he is popular" Stern - inappropriate"
Deputy Assistant Defense Secretary for Internal Communications Allison Barber defended continued broadcasts of The Rush Limbaugh Show by the American Forces Radio and Television Service, stating that AFRTS programming "is based on popularity here in the states." (Part of the Defense Department, AFRTS broadcasts to U.S. service members in 177 countries and U.S. territories around the world, including Iraq.) When asked why Howard Stern's similarly popular radio talk show is not aired, Barber responded (apparently contrasting Stern's program with Limbaugh's) as follows: "Well, his iissue is one of content that's not appropriate."

1. so now we have our soldiers who like to beat up and torture
Iraqi's persuaded by an openly admitted drug addict. Nice...and what's the difference between America and Saddam's old way of running things? It's all so blurry.

3. Rush is an ambassador of American culture
I'm sure the Iraqis are interested in hearing what sort of pranks they might endure should they ever choose to pledge an American fraternity.

4. Nice
It is good that the Iraqi people can directly hear the true voice of America. Limbaugh Show should also be aired in every country that is asked to participate in cleaning up the mess.

Bring it on Rush! Don't talk behind our backs. Let us all hear what's on your dirty mind.
