How can you vote for a liar like Kerry?
I still can't believe there are real folks out there that still ask that question? This was a co-worker who asked me that question and at first I thought she was joking with me. But she was serious.

Do folks still think Bush has never ever lied?

1. Did you ask them to actually...
describe a "lie" to you?

2. Nice flamebait headline!
There are, in fact, people who think Bush has never lied. I talk to several frequently. They make my head hurt.

17. These headlines make the DU front page for awhile.
I once got taken to task for that, and rightly so.

4. I was listening to Alan Colmes' show
Edited on Fri Jun-04-04 01:03 PM by Skittles
when he had that rapid fire segment- asking who people would vote for - the ones who said Bush said they felt Kerry was dishonest but that Bush has "integrity". I think it's some sort of mass psychosis.

5. I think you are right about the mass psychosis
or maybe mass hypnosis. The Bush Crime Family propaganda machine works well. They have studied under the masters of the 20th century. In fact, they appear to have been on the same side as the master's of 20th century war propaganda.

9. They remind me of the Sheep Chorus in Animal Farm.
4 legs bad, 2 legs better ! or good?

Sheeple. There is no way to reason with them.

6. You can't let that question go without SLAMMING the person asking you
with the truth.

Ask them to name a lie that Kerry has told.

Make a bet that you can name 10 Bush lies for every Kerry lie.

These IDIOTS are brainwashed by Limbaugh, etc. I wish DU'ers would TURN OFF conservative radio once and for all. I'd rather watch paint dry than listen to Rush for 10 minutes.

I agree Jackstraw. There is no reason to add to their audiences. Big waste of time.

14. Your very rich friend
is projecting his own issue onto Kerry. Having money can do wierd things to you.
I grew up in a conservative cattle and ranching family. It tends to influence the way you see things.

19. If you know any capital "L" Libertarians....
then surly they remember *'s most recent SOTU address where he called for the permanent extension of the Patriot Act. If they are okay with this then they either:

(A)Believe the PA to be a legitimate and useful tool in the war against terror

(B)Are racist and really don't care since abuses against the public are mainly against Arab Americans, not conservative white folk who want fewer taxes

Where do people get this crap from? Believe whatever they are told to believe without question. :argh: That's the REAL danger to our "freedoms." :grr:

12. We have to accept the fact
that some people are truly stupid. A woman where my wife works isn't worried about her job and yet a persn two cubes away from her had her job sent to Brazil. She doesn't believe it and supports $hrub.

15. * = FLIP-FLOPPING LIAR
To the tune of “Paperback Writer” (and with apologies to the Beatles)

FLIP-FLOPPING LIAR

I HEARD THE RIGHT WING AND THEIR LATEST SPIN
SAYING KERRY WAFFLES AND THAT’S SUCH A SIN
IT’S BASED ON THE FAXES FROM A MAN NAMED ROVE
BUT TO KEEP HIS JOB, BUSH HAS GOT TO BE A FLIP-FLOPPING LIAR
FLIP-FLOPPING LIAR

EV’RY PHONY PROMISE, EV’RY PHONY CLAIM
THEY WRAP IN A FLAG AND A PHONY NAME
SO HE GIVES SPEECHES TO THE BUSSED-IN CROWDS
IT’S NO EASY JOB, BECAUSE BUSH IS SUCH A FLIP-FLOPPING LIAR
FLIP-FLOPPING LIAR
FLIP-FLOPPING LIAR

WHILE THEIR TAX CUT SCAM RAISED THE DEFICIT
THEY’RE ALL SO RICH, THEY DON’T GIVE A SHIT
AND THEY’RE MAKING PROFITS OFF THEIR DIRTY WAR
SO BE A PATRIOT, AND JUST CALL BUSH A FLIP-FLOPPING LIAR
FLIP-FLOPPING LIAR

IF YOU DARE CROSS THEM, THEY’LL EXPOSE YOUR WIFE
IF THEY CLAIM THEY’RE HELPING JUST EXPECT MORE STRIFE
WHILE YOU COUNT THE CHILDREN WHO GET LEFT BEHIND
PASS THE KOOL-AID UP AND REMEMBER HE’S A FLIP-FLOPPING LIAR
FLIP-FLOPPING LIAR
FLIP-FLOPPING LIAR

22. I was told this
by a repub recently. Actually he tried to play the "I'm neutral" card. He said "I'll vote for anyone who is honest no matter what they say. Even if they want to destroy the world I'll vote for them as long as they are honest about it".

He then said "That's why I support Bush. At least he is honest about what he is going to do". I then threw out the "no plans on my desk for Iraq" lie. Threw him totally off. Guy was a repub nut.

23. Kerry is a politician for a very long time... and
if you seek contradictions of course you'll find... Perhaps that will be his weakness against Bush's attacks.
