admit to in the first month in Iraq? I think I remember seeing someone post 30,000+.

Franks gave the President and the NSC an update by secure video (...) At one point Franks said, "There are 30,000 Iraqi casulaties estimated."'
-- Rumsfeld then questions that number & says that it would be unwise for if "people walked out of the room with that number in their heads."
Bush commenting later echoes Rumsfeld's thoughts. Woodward puts to him that some Generals had "estimated that 60,000 Iraqi military were killed, but no one knew because they couldn't find the bodies." Bush says he queried the number because they couldn't find the bodies & was told '"with the uniformed divisions they bury the bodies immediately. In the Muslim tradition I guess."'
