Moms Against Bush Playgroup
My boss got an email invitation today from a group of mother in Dallas of all places that have created a anti-Bush playgroup. They get all their kids together and then use the time to collectively kibbutz about GW. They are organizing events and such.

I never thought I'd live to see a bunch of rich white Dallas women creating political action clubs that were anti-Bush.

I am dumbfounded! Anybody else hear of anything like this in your area?

11. Here is the email she received
Attention all Moms, Grandmoms, and someday to-be-Moms!

The newly formed Dallas chapter of Mothers Opposing Bush, or MOB, cordially invites like-minded moms and their kids and grandkids to our first-ever Play Date for Change on Sunday, June 13 from 2-4 p.m.

Come out and join us for a fun day and some political therapy! The
kids can run, swing and spin while you meet other moms ready for the White House to put issues like education, air quality, children's health and insurance center-stage. Bring your friends and some drinks and snacks for your kids (and maybe a few to share) and come and enjoy a mix of activities likely to include face-painting, crafts, a Bounce House, live children's music, voter registration and lively discussion. For more information, visit www.MOB.org and click on Texas, or e-mail mobdallas@msn.com. If you wish to register to
attend the event, you may do so on the MOB.org website.

20. This should go national ~ Just like MADD
Mothers are a VERY powerful force and when it comes to protecting their kids.... whew ...look out. This is HOT and needs to be picked up on.

3. It is about time. Those Moms who work at home are so isolated
in their Bush lovin communities, especially in Texas. They need a support group such as this.

5. Moms know that * is
not good for their kids. Kerry needs an ad directed toward women. I want a safer, and cleaner world for my kids and grandkids. He needs to talk to the mothers of this nation as a concerned father.

6. I wish
I don't do playgroups, but I do lots of community and volunteer work and the women I am thrown together with through those activities are almost always Bush supporters. It would be so nice to have a group of women to get together with that has values and views in common.

without an organization! But I am glad to hear about what people are doing in Texas. Good for them. I bet a lot of moms will not be voting for * this year.

12. Dallas anti-Bush playgroup
I haven't seen anything like that in Maryland but I have seen several cars with bumperstickers saying something like: Join the MOB - Mothers Opposed to Bush. My kind of mob.
