An all-purpose comeback to right wing/bushco attacks on Kerry -

I've been reading the CHB report on the cracking up of the pretend president, and, as scary as the big pieces of that report are, this snip made something in my brain go "ding ding ding." Maybe its just me, but...

“We’re at war, there’s no doubt about it. What I don’t know anymore is just who the enemy might be,” says one troubled White House aide. “We seem to spend more time trying to destroy John Kerry than al Qaeda and our enemies list just keeps growing and growing.”

Now, if you tweak that just a little, you get the all-purpose response I'm talking about:

drone: Kerry is a communist America-hating drug addict who bla bla bla...

Patriot: If bush would put as much effort into destroying al qaeda as he does trying to destroy John Kerry, we'd all be a lot safer.

Again, maybe its just me, and that comeback probably needs a little more tweaking, but from a "troubled" aide to the WH itself, I think we might have the makings to a pretty good comeback to whatever the rw hate-machine might spew next.
