Miami attorney Al Cárdenas, 56, is the Republican National Committee's first ''Super Ranger,'' a new category for donors who raise $300,000 by Aug. 15. Cárdenas, the state's former GOP chairman, runs the Tew Cárdenas firm's government affairs practice for its Miami, Tallahassee and D.C. offices.


Al Cárdenas is a former Fla state Republican Party Chairman .
