Last night at a baseball game, I saw several people in full */Dick regalia registering people to vote. Is it legal/ethical for the people doing the registering to wear candidate apparel while doing so?

I've registered people wearing a Kerry shirt.
Some venues may require that registration be carried out on a non-partisan basis though. If that's the case, candidate regalia is obviously a no-no.

Even good tactic. We festoon our voter registration booths with Dem signs, banners, bumper stickers. We'll register whoever comes up, but repugs generally don't.
