It's Morning In America, Time To GET TO WORK!
Edited on Sat Jun-05-04 04:05 PM by cryingshame
Reagan used the line "it's morning in America" and supposedly that was postive.

Well, what Reagan (and the Neo-Cons who actually controlled the levers of government while he was in office) actually meant is, "It's morning in America, hit the snooze button and go back to sleep".

My hope is that John Kerry manages to change the meaning of that phrase to "it's morning in America, and it's time to pull together AS A TEAM, roll up our sleeves and GET TO WORK."

Our Economy, Environment, School Systems and Social Fabric have been so decimated that we have a huge job on our hands.

This is no time for hitting the snooze button.
