Did Nancy Reagan change Ronald's politics?

Here is something I have thought about. Many people do not realize that Ronald Reagan used to be an FDR Democrat but changed right around into a Republican. Does anybody think that Nancy Reagan had anything to do with Ronald Reagan's conversion with becoming a conservative Republican?

And oddly enough, she supposedly was the one who tempered Ronnie's allegiance to hardline hawks in his administration. It's said that the nuclear arms reduction agreement made with Gorbachev at Reykjavich was her doing.
