but one of his first "political" endeavors was to get himself selected head of his actors union and he used that post to rat on fellow actors and turn people, like Paul Robson and people of that stature, over to Joe McCarthy's trip through civil rights deprivation based on terrorist tactics.

One of his major accomplishments in 1600 was to make travelling less safe in his zeal to destroy the Air Traffic Controllers union.

Loonie trickle down Reaganomics (ie piss on the little guy) did not suddenly pop into his sights when he gained the highest office. He had been a neocon for a long long time before that.
