Trapped on Earth by Negative Forces. Opihi Rant #906.01
Madness Rules.

A small band of people loosely scattered and hopelessly out numbered by Madness..... find themselves Trapped and stymied.

Some of them have found their way to the DU, too many have not, looking for others to perhaps join in on the effort to rectify the effects of poor leadership and its deadly results. They come to combine skills and resources to punctuate the positive and find ways toward better leadership.

Madness: 101.01 Definition and examples of:

HELP ME OUT guys, define Madness.

1. Madness is railing against the lack of civility and discourse....
....while simultaneously indulging in an orgy of incivility and gloating at the death of someone who did not share your politics.

Madness, weirdness & strangely compelling.

P.S. (I'm a big fan of the site, and I visit it a few times a week. That probably means I'm mad.)

www.threebrain.com

ON EDIT: It is coincidence that my ID is "brainshrub". I have nothing to do with the site.)

Stay around negative people long enough and you become that. Just as you remain around angry people you become angry.

5. it's the human condition....
Even the most rational of us harbors the same reptilian brain stem and "old mammalian" limbic system as Rummy and Feith. The human world view is inherently insane.

7. Insane only if we wish to remain so. We have not yet really set in place
a system that has high odds to succeed.

6. Madness is doing the same thing over and over and expecting
different results.

In a practical sense, one example is to attempt to convince freepers with logic.

I have no problem with the emotional rants about Reagan. It's a purge, that's all, and nothing compared to what will happen on freerepublic with Clinton's passing. At least we never wished for Reagan's death.
