Poll question: Was Reagan any better than Saddam? |
|
No one would demand that we respect Saddam's death.

1. You can make the argument that he's was very misguided |
|
That's what I tend to believe.
It's pretty much impossible to make that argument with Saddam.

2. Reagan was braindead in the fifties. Other people ran the state and |
|
country for him. When Jane Wyman had parties, she used to be relieved when he would leave the room to watch his "horse operas" and stop saying embarrassing things to her guests.

Reagan sent weapons to Saddam, helicopters and the like (actually, behind the back of Congress he was arming Iran as well).

6. Fucking Reagan INVENTED Saddam |
|
Saddam wouldn't have been shit without Reagan, so every body in Saddam's count of dead should also be counted in Asshole Reagan's, too!

7. Um, last time I checked, Reagan.. |
|
..didn't torture people, and he wasn't the head of a dictatorship.
This is pathetic and embarassing to all of us.

8. Oh comeon, there's not comparison. Reagan never |
|
ordered people who disagreed with him to be killed. He wan't a dictator.
Yes, he was a Pub, and we all disagreed with his "tricle-down" idea, but it's rediculous to try to compare the two.

11. Agreed. I couldn't stand Reagan, but no comparison. |
|
Saddam was a mass killer, even worse than Dumbya. Reagan was nowhere near as bad as either of those thugs.

Why should such terrible people be respected in anyway?
That's ridiculous. I wouldn't have respected Hitler, Pol Pot, and Stalin, anymore in life, than I would in death. Some people ARE that terrible.
Now, Reagan shouldn't quite be compared to Saddam...but I don't see any reason to respect Reagan's politics. There's nothing worthy of it.
