I just don't get it...why play into the
Reagan sludge-fest going on here and on all the cable channels. This weekend was supposed to be about something that we can be proud of--D-Day--and to give all this attention to Reagan just slaps our veterans in the face. I am so mad they pre-empted the coverage of D-Day for Reagan, so talk about what is good and proud in this country--our veterans. Giving the right all this attention lets them win again.

I'll be dammed if Reagan's death "ups" D-Day. He wasn't the only President in our nation's history and he sure didn't do anything as historical as D-day.

1. Where's the D-Day school and the D-Day highway, and...
...the D-Day airport? If D-Day were more important than Reagan, why isn't all sorts of stuff named after D-Day?

</sarcasm>

2. It's either St Ronnie
or Commander in Chief Dumbass stinking up D-Day ceremonies. Either way, not much of a choice.

3. Speaking of St. Ronnie
Wasn't he a lapsed Catholic? You can bet Grover Norquist and his band of thugs will be petitioning the Vatican to put Reagan on the fast track to sainthood.
