STOP THE INSANITY people.

The sensationalization of the negative comments regarding you-know-who are just that. There are 40,000+ people here and a gazillion more liberals who all have different views. To hear those who seemingly want to use a broad brush to paint all liberals as incompassionate because of the few negative comments here is getting old. The comments don't represent all of DU. And, thank God that unlike Freeperville, we are NOT monolithic. That's what being liberal is all about--free speech, variety, diversity...

i just read 10 pages of responses from people who came in here to see the ugliness and show of all us du'ers dancing on the grave. it saddened me. all day i have been disappointed this board ahs been full of reagan, both simply cause we are making the deal out of it i dont want to be a part of, and because so many are being so ugly. but to hear what the righties are saying about us, knowing they are speaking the truth in repeating what we say, ah that is horrible to be thrown in the group. to say at this moment, i dont particularly like being a part of the whole.

i have only been on the board a while, but came in at a time i really needed like thinkers. was a saving grace for me. listening to the characterization after the threads on the board today, cant hold my head up so very proud

still, i see it is just a group, though seems a large group that are so hateful in the death.

i havent been going into the reagan threads, so i am not sure of what is being said, or how many

oh well, maybe tomorrow we will be on better footing. my suggestion, stay off the news so you dont see all the fawning and hero worshipping. i cant watch. have been watching dvd's all day
