W's leak probe att'y a Kerry fan

WASHINGTON - The lawyer President Bush has tapped for counsel if questioned in the CIA leak probe has donated the maximum amount allowed to Sen. John Kerry's presidential campaign, records show.
Washington attorney Jim Sharp forked over $6,000 to Kerry's current war chest, including $2,000 to his campaign and the rest to Kerry's political action committees.

In the past, he has also contributed to Kerry's Senate races.

Sharp hasn't given Bush's campaign a nickel, according to Federal Election Commission records.
