Were Bush's comments on Reagan's death shot long ago?
Anybody else notice this? Bush's comments on the demise of Reagan looked like they were shot in a photo booth somewhere, with absolutely no context. It looked like it was deliberately shot in a nondescript little cube with blue bunting and American flags so that they could use it at any time ........ like, say, if he wasn't in Washington.

Anybody have any leads on this? I am 99% certain that that video was "canned"

1. Everything he says is that way...
They man is completely inept at being able to discuss complicated issues spontaneously. Remember the Meet the Press interview, and his State of the Union. I don't think it was previously recorded....

3. Me neither.
But it did suck.

As he was lauding Reagan, I couldn't help but but hear a parenthetical "just like me" comment at the end of every sentence of praise.

Bush is no Reagan. Love him or hate him, Reagan was a giant. Bush is a tiny, tiny, tiny man by comparison.

13. Reagan was a 'giant' ILLUSION.
He killed thousands with his policies and decimated this country's economy, with a little help from his VP later on. Now Reagan is dead and gone. But his despicable legacy lives on.

2. Absolutely.
I noticed it immediately. He is standing in the same backdrop that they use for his once in a blue moon press conferences. He's out of the country. There's no way he could rehearse the speech and get it taped and over to us so quickly, IMO.

12. Considering
Reagan's status in the Party, it would have been appropriate.

5. I don't think
there's anything tinfoil about him taping it in advance. I just looked at it and went "more propaganda, hmm." That's all.

7. Why would you need a tinfoil hat to think that Junior's remarks...
...were recorded earlier? A little quick on the "tinfoil hat trigger" aren't we?

10. Plus, I work in the media. I help make stuff exactly like that
and it sure looked non-contextual to me. It could have been shot anyplace, anytime.

If anyone has access to that video, it would be interesting to compare Bush's hair, the suit he had on that day in France, etc.

I would bet you $100 there are discrepancies.
