In the Big Scheme of Things...
...the death of Elvin Jones was far more a loss to humanity than that of Ronald Reagan.

Need proof? Look at the discrepancy in coverage.

Remember the difference when Di and Mother Theresa both bought the farm?

If the world is fawning over you, you've likely "gone wrong" somewhere along the line.

1. Was Di a bad lady? ("gone wrong somewhere")
I don't really know much about her, but I heard she was actually quite decent, but of course her accomplishments are nowhere near that of Mother Theresa.

2. Thanks, Misanthrope,
I needed to hear that. Been beating myself up bretty bad lately for my lack of accomplishments in life. Sometimes I forget that the really important deeds in life are rarely recognized as success in the eyes of the world.

3. Yesterday I learned my close friend was murdered.
He was humble and generous and easy going, He never would have expected to show up on the same page as Congressmen Senators and President of the world bank but there he is...

4. Sorry to hear about your friend.
I will be proud of my own legacy if after I am gone my friends described me the way you did this man.
