2. It's either getting freeped or there's a whole ass load of idjits.
Raygun has raced to 36. FDR is at 29, and Clinton is at 14. Teddy, Kennedey, and Coolidge are all tied for 3rd at 7. What a load, but slightly to be expected after Rayguns bucket kicking.

5. The chimp didn't become pResident until January 20th 2001.
So which century are they talking about.

This should really be viewed as a test of peoples memory and judgement. Thirty-Six percent are failing miserably.

Thanks guys, for celebrating. Making the rest of us look bad... sure, I may have hated a lot of what the man did, but jesus h, take the moral high ground!

11. Truman
I wouldn't be alive today if Truman hadn't dropped the atom bomb.

My grandfather was about to be shipped to Japan when they surrendered.

I think it saved more lives than it cost.

how many MORE would have survived if we had accepted their 1 condition sooner as all of our military leaders in theater at that time recommended.

<snip>

* In his memoirs Admiral William D. Leahy, the President's Chief of Staff--and the top official who presided over meetings of both the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the Combined U.S.-U.K. Chiefs of Staff--minced few words:

The use of this barbarous weapon at Hiroshima and Nagasaki was of no material assistance in our war against Japan. The Japanese were already defeated and ready to surrender. . . .

In being the first to use it, we . . . adopted an ethical standard common to the barbarians of the Dark Ages. I was not taught to make war in that fashion, and wars cannot be won by destroying women and children. (THE DECISION, p. 3.)

14. In fairness
Reagen is in everybodies mind; it's kind of like polls of what the best song by a band is; invariably they show that the best song is the one they just released (if it's a public poll. Among fans, every band has always sold out their earlier purer work).

20. we should care
If people see 50 online polls that indicate Reagan is #1 with more votes than every other president combined, it will start to seep into the greater public consciousness over time.

I don't know how many times I've heard normally open-minded people think that there may be something to those Clinton rape charges - after all, so many women coming forward must mean something...
