Ouch and this is a Gallup poll. Do you think Judy will allow us to no about these results? Numbers are even better when using likely voters.

2. Good for perception. Makes diebolding harder.
Other than that, meaningless. I know W has only his 29% left - and not sure even they will show up and vote. But polls will never show this.

5. Here we see Bush's electoral strategy in action
Americans largely don't like him. Bush plans to eek out narrow margins of victory in the conservative/red states where they barely like him, and pick off a few wins in the swing states with wedge issues. He totally concedes the Democratic states like NJ, CA, MA, etc., where he is hated by large margins.

8. We'll see how Bush handles the eulogy
Someone (probably Peggy Noonan) will write him a terrific speech, but can he deliver it? The only speech I've seen him give in which he did well was after the space shuttle disaster. He will have lots of time to practice for this one. However, he will have to mind that Clinton will be present(with Hillary), the media will be all over him, and he is so good at these types of things.

10. Did you look at the red/blue/purple state breakdown?
Absolutely stunning. Look at how Kerry is doing in the red states!

"Among registered voters, Kerry leads Bush by 20 points in the blue states (won by former Vice President Al Gore in 2000 by a margin of more than 5 percentage points), and trails Bush by just 4 points in the red states (won by Bush in 2000 by a margin of more than 5 percentage points). In the purple states (those won by either Gore or Bush by margins of 5 points or less), Kerry leads by 5 points, 49% to 44%."

This is big trouble for Bush. If he has to worry about defending states like Virginia and Colorado (maybe AR and NC too?) it's going to divert resources which would otherwise be used in battleground states like Michigan and Ohio.

This is precisely why I think it would be huge to have either Clark or Edwards as Veep.

11. Yup, Kerry Can Take the Campaign To Bush Country
and Bush will HAVE to spend money there to defend himself. Bush can't do the same to Kerry. Big advantage for Kerry. VA and CO will be in play.

12. We still have to win the Electoral Votes.
These data seem to suggest Kerry is going to win big in the blue states, but that won't do him any good if he loses all the close states.

We still have a lot of work to do.

17. Vote no RR bounce
Bu$h is finished.

The country is onto him, I think the huge outpouring of grief for RR is influenced by people remembering "the good old days" of the Repub. party. Not these Neocon bumblers.
