Did anyone hear a caller from C-SPAN talking about drug rehab with Bush?

She was from West Va. Mentioned something about her brother being in rehab during the Vietnam war period and George W Bush was there also? Did I hear that wrong? I see nothing about it so I must have heard wrong???

I heard that also. The caller was asked by the host how she knew about Bush being in drug rehab. She said her brother saw him and went on to talk about her brother in Nam. She said her brother should right a book. I hope someone checks into this one.

Didn't have C-SPAN on so can't comment on what you heard. But if you heard correctly, it might account for a lot, though it seems more likely W was working a campaign at the time.

she also said her brother was both in Vietnam as a pilot AND in the TANG with him, which, AFAIK didn't happen, cause his wing didn't have anybody flying in Vietnam, cause the F-102 was taken out of service by then; one of the reasons he probably signed up for that unit....he KNEW in advance that they weren't going to be flown there.

maybe the guy came back after flying, but if they play the rerun, I'd be surprised if you don't think she was just raving

AND,Re: the other post above, maybe the other pilot was sent on to Nam after rehab, because he'd gotten busted for dope and had gone through rehab! They may have punished the guy for screwing up and sent him to an active unit in Nam, to finish his hitch! They placed NGs and ERs on active duty for fouling up back then, unless their daddies were rich gubmint men, like GHW Bush!
