Freepers have found a grave to dance on: FDR's
Generally calling him a communist/socialist Stalin enabler.
Boy are they clueless.

1. funny. grave dancing is an old human tradition
it's an expression, and it's a metaphor, but no one really does it.
but all through human history people have talked about grave dancing on an enemies corpse.

2. How marvelously appropriate for the D-Day anniversary week

I'm sure most of them would rather have allowed Europe to be ruled by the Nazis.

Better Hitler than Stalin, eh? Prescott Bush felt the same way...

3. ...and don't forget the LBJ grave-romp
The recent freep-fest grave dancing when the father of the WH spokesman went on The History Channel to claim that Johnson killed Kennedy.

The claim was so specious that THC had to run a one-hour special to refute it.

And, let's see...Lady Bird is still alive, as are both of his daughters. I don't think they cared much for how his family felt (and they were PISSED).

5. They sure use him when they can though
Notice how Republicans like to use our heroes to articulate some perverted foreign policy agenda. They love digging up old FDR, Truman and JFK quotes and then bizzarely linking them to the need to spend trillions on the military and the war in Iraq. Of course, when that's not necessary there out there trashing the New Deal, obsessing over JFK's penis and calling them socialists or communists.

7. Freepers hate FDR because
It's obvious they prefer fascism. Which would have been the result here, as it was in Germany, had FDR not been elected.

8. Get a look at this load of crap...
"Also, I think Roosevelt deliberately engineered the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor and was responsible for all those dead Americans because he wanted a reason to enter the war after having promised America to keep us out of it."

So they're applying MIHOP to FDR and Pearl Harbor. Nice.

10. And Ann Coulter is apparently their main source of information....
To: Chewbacca
I agree. Read "Treason" by Ann Coulter. If Roosevelt wasn't a supporter of Joe Stalin, I'll eat my hat.

He thought Uncle Joe was the best thing Russia ever had - the man who murdered more people than Hitler than did.

Also, I think Roosevelt deliberately engineered the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor and was responsible for all those dead Americans because he wanted a reason to enter the war after having promised America to keep us out of it.

What idiot would believe ANYTHING that ignorant bitch is saying? Those people are an embarrassment for America...just like their President. Stupid, uninformed, and hate-filled. I wish those people would just take themselves out of the gene pool.

11. Neil Boortz isn't intrested in people that dance on FDR's grave.
Neil is only looking for stuff he can use to slam Democrats. He knows he would be looking for a job if he started going after the neocons.

12. You know what? I haven't read any Reagan tribute that doesn't
trash on some other president. Usually the digs are at either Carter or FDR. Way to make your guy look good by trashing others.

14. Damn Them
I hate them I hate them I hate them! How dare they tarnish FDR, taxes have (with a few notable exceptions) NEVER. NEVER, caused people to lose their jobs. Strange how they tarnish FDR, yet if it wasn't for him, they wouldn't have running water, or electricity in many parts of the South. Here is a link to refute most of what they say in that thread about FDR. The Great Depression
