Asskroft Is Fear Mongering Again...And Where Is CNN???

Back in the land of the living, we're getting a good, live doseage of insane rantings from a man who just recently issued a threat without consulting with Homeland Security and scared a lot of people. And where's CNN's coverage? It's St. Raygun, of course.

Here's a man responsible for a lot of what went wrong on 9/11 and since...one who is the most dangerous in this regime, and we're supposed to "wax nostalgia" of a time many of us would rather forget. I swear, this stuff is bordering on necrophelia and idol worship.

I could understand Faux or even History Channel doing the All Raygun thing, but three days non-stop of this garbage is getting very old, very fast. It's not like this was an assasination, or Raygun was still in power or even contributing to society. But I'm certain there's a lot of money and other considerations riding on how much and how good the coverage is.

3. He's Been Carrying On For Even More Powers..

Grandstanding for the next "Patriot" act...under the guise of being at war with a concept...the "War On Terror". This, in his view, means extra constitutional measures to find "terrorists" inside this country. Even some of the Repugnicans on the panel are having a tough time swallowing this.

Of course he's blaming Congress (assumed Democratic controlled, as his biggest shots are done during cross examination by the panel Dems) and Clenis for why his FBI and his INS and his Treasury Department look the other way at the real criminality going on in this country and chases ghosts and adverbs. This smacks of McCarthyism.

Remember, he's the one who stated it was the "stone wall" by Clenis that made 9/11 happen...and that there was a heightened possibility of a threat...issuing those pictures of people long circulated around (and many who claim their innocense). This guy is dangerous...but the cable channels other than C-Span hasn't carried a spit of this testimony.

Interesting guy. He is the former mobster whom the movie "Goodfellas" is based.

Was in the Witness Protection Program in Nebraska for years, yet still was pretty visible, and often popped up in public. I've heard him on Howard Stern on occasion.

Just wrote an autobiography. And thinks 'The Sopranos" is a very accurate portrayal.
