Major Democratic victories in Virginia already....VOTE today (June 8)
once again, sadly, only 25% of Roanoke, Virginia voters actually got up and VOTED on May 5th....

Democrats WON BIG....but TODAY is the Democratic Primary Elections....many reTHUGlicans are on the Virginia ballets disguised as Democrats...go VOTE, and vote for the Democrat....in District 8, Alexandria and nearby communitites, the Democrat is Jim Moran....in District 10, Fairfax and nearby communities, the Democrat is James Socas....

this is all very grass-root voting...most important voting for MOVING VIRGINIA into the Democrat Kerry's victory....PLEASE help by the simple effort of VOTING TODAY in Virginia...thanks for being a Patriot and STANDING UP to bush*....

Democrats sweep Roanoke
Mayoral victor Nelson Harris joined Sherman Lea, Brian Wishneff and Bev Fitzpatrick in wins.

By Todd Jackson

Nelson Harris won Roanoke's mayoral race Tuesday night as Democrats swept their fourth of the past five municipal elections.

In a tight race that came down to the last few of 32 precincts reporting, Harris beat independent Mac McCadden by 741 votes and Republican Alice Hincker by 957. Democrats Bev Fitzpatrick, Sherman Lea and Brian Wishneff were the top three vote getters in a seven-way race for three council seats.

Republican Wendy Jones finished a close fourth in the council race, 545 votes behind Wishneff.

About 25 percent of Roanoke's registered voters turned out Tuesday.

3. BS
In the 8th District of Virginia the Democrat is Jim MOran?

This will certainly come as a great surprize to Andy Rosenberg and his supporters.

Many Democrats in the 8th are just fed up with Jim Moran and his antics. The questionable loans. The anti-Semitism. The fight with the 8-year-old kid.

Some of us think we can do better than Jim.

And some would resent very greatly your implication that Jim is the only Democrat on the 8th District Ballot today.

5. You can say what you want about Jim
but he is NOT anti-semetic - I attended a town meeting on the war in which people were making anti-semetic remarks and Jim Moran told them to knock it off and if they didn't stop they would be escorted out...Andy Rosenberg has chose this issue as his main campaign issue - and I for one find it very offensive - I also know the woman who asked the question at the town meeting from which the charge started and know many people who were at the meeting - most of them agree that Jim's remarks were not anti-semetic - it seems to me most of the people claiming Jim to be anti-semetic were not even at these meetings.

So if you like Andy so be it but please dont' accuse Jim Moran of being anti-semetic because he just plain isn't.....

4. What in the world are you talking about
I worked the polls this morning in VA 8th - both candidates are Democrats - there is no political affiliation in VA and I can assure you that there were no repunks rushing out to to vote for Andy Rosenberg. The major issue in the 8th is that Rosenberg is claiming that Moran is an anti-semite - which he most certainly is not - there has been no indication that Rosenberg is a repunk in Dem clothes - what is your source for this....

I whole heartedly support your support of Jim Moran - he voted against the war resolution and for me he deserves my vote because of that, but truthfully whichever of these men ends up in Congress - their voting records are likely to be very much the same
