I saw this.....taped it....yesterday

it really gets to the crux of the issue, with even Barone, who comes off as a REAL ASSHOLE, and Krystal admitting that things aren't going so hot, and if they stay that way, Bush is toast

Greenberg, pollster/consultant who turned Gore's campaign around in summer of 2000, til media hoes really kicked into overdrive for Bush after the Oprah appearance, is particularly astute

1. the highly execrable Barone begins thusly

media war against Bush!!!!!!!

then he says Abu Ghraib is just a minor thing, which the media hyped out of all proportion, while ignoring all the good stuff that's happening there

he really said that

John Judis will jump all over his sorry ass for the Abu Ghraib thing

he should have mentioned how the media has been nothing but a cheeleader for three and a half years, up until just recently

5. I can take Krystol.....he's not inflammatory like Barone

and he's fairly honest/realistic

he IS very smarmy, true, but of all the scumsucking liars and thieves, he's one of the very least offensive to me

he even admits that he's been wrong, and that they're in trouble on a lot of points

I've seen a few interviews with Kristol, and he often has an expression on his face like not even HE believes what he's saying. Anyone else know what I'm talking about? That little smirk, followed by a hesitant and meekly spoken statement?

there was a canadian journalist from Harper's on this morning who spent over a year there, and he said they hate us SO much; even those who liked us before
