THE PRESIDENT: Ronald Reagan will go down in history as a great American President because he had a core set of principles from which he would not deviate. He understood that a leader is a person who sets clear goals and makes decisions based upon principles that are etched in his soul - and our nation will miss him. I just saw that ridiculous clip replayed on Inside Politics. Bush sees all this adulation and fawnery, and he wants to BE Reagan! It's pathetic.

Then right after that Reagan's last Chief of Staff (whose name escapes me right now) was on and said that Reagan's greatest strength was his ability to get past party and work with both sides. He was willing to give up some of what he wanted to reach a compromise.

Of course, when prodded by the whore Judy Woodruff, he did say that Bush shared the heart and soul of Reagan. :puke:

5. It seems to me that most commentators insinuate that Bush is no Reagan

The few times I've turned on CNN or MSNBC since Reagan has died. Of course, I've barely watched a thing since Reagan died because I'm so tired of the over-saturation.
