Why? Who is this guy? I have seen the info on his site, but I want to ask my friends here who I trust. What say you?

3. He's been around, but
he really got popular after 9/11. He was one of the
first to come up with the pipeline connection, and he's
really focused on peak oil.

Ruppert's right up there with Ritter in my way of seeing
things.

4. I saw Ruppert speak recently in LA --
He was incredible -- he connects all the dots. He used to be an LAPD investigator and he puts those same skills together reading the political tea leaves. He's right more often than he's wrong. He predicted that Kerry would be the nominee when Dean was hot and Kerry was polling single digits. He has been way out ahead of the curve on peak oil -- I've been following that story closely and even many of the academics agree with Ruppert now.

5. I feel he is good with facts
and he uses the facts in interesting ways.

My conclusions may differ from his, but his are always thought provoking.

9. Madsen claims the pope worries that Bush is the anti-Christ
at least according to his sources. Madsen is the only one to make that claim and that worries me. How likely is it that sources close to the pope would confide in Madsen and no one else on such a startling revelation?

14. Rupert is not credible
Here are some sites and authors I consider not to be credible. Though some are right some times, even a broken clock is right twice a day.

Art Bell - need I say more?
Hopsicker - noone else seems corroberte any of his info
Alex Jones - sees demons in the cover of a Bohenian Grove video
Al Martin Raw - Gauleiter of Mecklenberg anyone?
Mike Ruppert - speculative
What Really Happened - speculative
Mike Vreeland - fraud

A big clue is when the sell books on their site - it usually indicates that they stir controversy to cash in on it.

17. I met Mike Ruppert in 1998 and liked him instantly.
I've been following his writings closely ever since.

I think he is precisely what he seems to be -- a dedicated investigative x-police officer become journalist who is driven in pursuit of both truth and justice. He really wants to know, and wants us to know, how the structures of power actually operate in this country. He was on the CIA-drugs trail long before it became popular in some circles. That is not to say he is always right, he isn't. But it IS to say, so far as I can determine, Mike Ruppert is telling me what HE believes to be the truth. Beyond that, it is up to me to decide whether or not I agree with him.

Mike Ruppert is NON PARTISAN -- which is to say, he knows there is a bottom-line loving slime more in control of our governmental affairs than are we. In other words, the corruption of our nation infects both political parties. This is how I see it as well, although I don't claim to have a fully informed point of view. I learn something new every day.

Mike also comes from an "intelligence" oriented family. I can't recall the details at this moment but I believe at least one if not both his parents were cryptologists.
