For those of you in the UK (or if you can get BBC) |

There's a documentary on tonight about Reagan's Legacy. It should be a little less rosy according to the preview in the Guardian.
To those in the States, I feel for you. I remember the wall to wall coverage of Diana when she died and the crass hypocrisy of so many in the media.
It just seems that everything has disappeared down the memory hole in the States.

I think, saw an advert for it earlier, had Thatcher talking, presumably a few years ago, saw her last night paying her respects. She looked like a zombie, guess it won't be long before she kicks the bucket and we're all treated to Daily Mail headlines: "The iron lady" "betrayed by her party" "never voted out of office etc."
Infact I'm sure the only reason anyone still respects her is because she resigned and wasn't voted out. In the same way it was decided not to kill Hitler in order to dispell the possiblity of him becoming a mythical figure.

Made me sick how she intervened for poor Pinochet a few years ago. It will be good when the whole lot of them are gone. Thanks for the BBC info.
