Poll question: How Will You Spend your Federally Mandated Day of Mourning
I personally will be travelling to a Science Fiction convention; but how will you spend it?!!?

4. Since as a contractor I cannot go into work tomorrow
I will have to take my own leave and take the day off. I planned to spend my vacation this year on my move so I might as well be packing.

Friday night my niece graduates high school. The ceremony is to be held at 7:00 pm at George Mason University Patriot Center, so the driving will be a disaster with the Reagasm stuff to get back to my Arlington apartment.

5. Auto Work
I' having a broken spring replaced on my truck, and then I just might sit around and fart, in memory of the Gipper, the rest of the day.

6. What federally day of mourning are you talking about?
I work for a health insurance company who's CEO is a raving Republican (he is currently boycotting the French), so maybe I'll get lucky and he'll call a day off so he can lie in his big pile of money and cry over Reagan.

If that happens, I'll probably sleep until four in the afternoon, then head to the bar to get completely plastered. Out of mourning, of course.

14. Please don't tell me there won't be mail on Friday!
I wonder if the air traffic controllers will have a one day strike "in memoriam".

I'll be dressed in the brightest clothing in my closet and taking care of my kids on Friday. On Saturday, I'll be going out of town so I'll be sure to have a couple of drinks at the hotel bar to celebrate. The funeral and everything will be over, so I'll feel alot better about toasting his absence from the planet.
