Based on state by stae polling data, Bush has a lead. Here's the source for the poll:

This Guy Has LOTS of OLD Data
It's a load of crap. Already I saw WV, NH and NM going to Bush in his analysis. That's BS!

5. That can't be correct
unless some states were omitted that is an exact copy of Bush v Gore 2000. That being the case we should be at 260 electoral votes.

I am rereading the site to make sure I didn't make any mistakes.

24. Errr
Isn't it possible the electoral vote numbers have changed after the census? Each state gets as many electoral votes as it does congress people.

6. flawed
some of the states have kerry winning more or the same amount of polls by larger margins but were rewarded to bush anyways.

7. Is he counting the electoral votes for New Texas (Iraq)?
How many are they getting, anyway? </sarcasm>

What on Earth would make this guy think that Bush* is somehow more popular now than during Selection 2000?

9. Interesting. Florida in a dead heat.
Florida also in a knock-down drag-out fight for unauditable voting.

10. Wishful thinking
And wishful thinking never won anybody an election. If he wants to be taken seriously, he should lose the Bush-Cheney '04 graphic.

18. Another site thinks Bush 281, Kerry 257
http://www.federalreview.com/compositepoll.htm

but also shows (in a graph at the bottom of the page) results from other web sites - eg Kerry 337, Bush 201 (and that's a Bush supporter!). The spread shows that these sites are pretty wild in their predictions - 2 at about 25 in favour of Bush, 1 60 in favour of Kerry, and the one 130+ in favour of Kerry.

The predictions are fun, but unreliable.

DAVID WISSING fantasizes, "How great would it be if Nader costs another Democratic candidate a general election?"
- quoted at here

I suspect this guy's "poll" might have some bias.
