Why is it "unpatriotic" to show the flag draped caskets of fallen soldiers |
|
But ok to put Ronald Reagan's flag draped casket on display in the Capitol Rotunda and broadcast it on every major network?
Could it be that one makes the wingnuts look bad and the other makes them look good?
*Sigh* Yet another example of how the wingnuts are Republicans first, Americans second.

6. Because it brings the war into our living rooms. |
|
And it's a reminder that people really are dying to fight that unjust war.
Shrub and his cohorts like to keep the war "over there" -- you know, where the BROWN people are.
But Ronnie Reagan, now there's a GOP hero and another cowboy, to boot. Never mind that he was buddies with Saddam and Osama; he had real family values, although he divorced his first wife and was estranged from his children.
Hail to the Chief; forget the Indians.
