Well done, Ron. Well done.

Reagan says he doesn't have anything personal against Bush. He met him only once, at a White House event during the Reagan presidency. "At least my wife insists we did -- he left absolutely no impression on me.

1. No Kidding
here's what worries me, everyone is riding high on this Reagan worship & thinking Dubya is continuing the legacy of Reagan. :puke:
I worry he'll ride Reagan's coattails right into a second term.

I wish some one would stand up and say to Dubya
"I knew Ronald Reagan, Ronald Reagan was a friend of mine.
And you, sir, are no Ronald Reagan" - not that that line helped when it was Bentsen stopped comparisons of Dan Quayle to JFK.

I hate to be so political about this, but it is hard to grieve too much for Reagan. Not because he is a Republican but because he lived a full, rich life. And he wasn't himself these last few years, the time to grieve should have been when he was diagnosed with Alzhheimer's. I imagine the past few years have been really hard on his family. I even feel bad for Reagan when he first started losing his memory, when he was first aware that something was wrong. How frustrating that must have been! You know, like when he's facing the Iran-Contra board and says, "I do not recall"
