bush* and pickles at Reagan's coffin...
Edited on Fri Jun-11-04 04:01 AM by radfringe
while channel surfing last evening -- saw bush* and pickles enter the rotundra, walk up to the coffin, they prayed for a few seconds, bush* smoothed out the flag and they left -- whole thing took a couple of seconds

ok I didn't expect bush* to make any speeches - nor would it have been appropriate for him to address the crowd at this time -- but I was surprised that it was all done in seconds

I had expected that bush* would have taken at least a couple of minutes -- not seconds -- it just seemed so abrupt, like he didn't want to be there and left the impression of " ok I came, saw the coffin, let's get outta here..."

maybe I'm being picky -- but it left a bad taste

comments added on edit:

-- will we see still shots of him standing at the coffin?
-- will the eulogy be of the tone "...I didn't come here to bury Reagan, I came here to use him as a campaign prop...."

1. I noticed that...he was in and out...

I was listening to El Drugbo today, and he complained about how the liberals were milking Wellstones death to win an election. He bragged about how conservatives were not using Raygun in such a way during the funeral. But if you go to his campaign website, that is exactly what he is doing....Perhaps deep down inside, he may not really like the man, who knows...

5. www.georgewbush.com
Those comments make me think that he has not seen this website in the past few days. There is a dearth of Bush pictures.

3. But George and Pickles will never be in that situation
because they will be swept up directly to heaven while all the Democrats are left behind to face horrible deaths and banishment to hell.

George's 16 IQ was a little flummoxed by seeing Reagan in that box, because Ronald thought he was going to be on that train to Jordan as well, and look what happened to him!
