As a lifeguard Raygun saved over 70 lives...what a crock of sh*t. |

This kind of crap is unbelievable. Heard this on CNN. I bet the Christian right is waiting for bush* to roll back the stone so RR can just float into heaven to take his righteous place next to the Saviour.

Two columns. On the left, lives Reagan saved. On the right, lives he snuffed out.
For the right-hand column, I suggest we begin with AIDS victims who died due to his obstinate refusal to acknowledge the magnatude of the epidemic. We could follow with Nicaraguan, Salvadoran and Guatemalan peasants who died at the hands of his death squads. Feel free to chime in here, folks.
I wonder which column would end up with more names in it? Gee, let's think....

try letting some comments go by - letting others vent a bit - without having to apologize for Reagan at every turn - I'm having flashbacks to the primary threads ... remember those days?

15. This Is Called Ragasming...It Should End Soon |
|
Just like the ususal Repugnican orgy, it's the only time these slugs mate and it's like the Cicaddas...fast, loud and very messy.
Watching Grover Norquist this morning was beyond obnoxious. This POS bitched that JFK who was 46 and shot by a Right Wing extremist or several...and FDR who was 62 and worn out by 12 years of war and cleaning up 75 years of GOOP messes...were on coins within a year of their deaths, so should Raygun...who died at f'in 93!!! He pooh poohed the Mt. Rushmore thing (suprise) only cause it would take 25 years to do. Sheesh!
Now they're showing the "dignitaries" (white) going into the service. Kinda reminds one of watching the casting call for Judgement at Nuremburg.
Cheers!

16. I ran the numbers on RR's lifeguard "record" once. |
|
Keep in mind that a GOOD lifeguard rarely gets his feet wet. 70 lives saved would have meant going into the water to fish out some idiot who can't swim at least several times a week. How many times have YOU seen the lifeguard respond to an emergency while at the swimming hole?

|
if you help someone from drowning, how are they ever going to learn how to swim on their own? you just create a culture of poor swimming techniques. if someone doesn't learn how to do it on their own, then you'll always have to be helping them. and in the end, you end up doing more harm than good to the person that you saved.
goddam liberal lifeguards!
