4. Ann Telnaes
One of my favorites is Ann Telnaes. Besides being clever, they are drawn exquisitely - almost Disneyesque. I'm not sure how to post a pic yet, so here is a link to one of my recent favorites:

9. Welcome to DU: Posting Pics
:hi:

You just need the URL for the pic itself. With that particular site, it takes a couple steps. I clicked the button to get to the current toon, then clicked it again to take me to that "send" screen. (I did this because the URL for the pic on the first page leads to an application that displays the image, not the image itself. This resulted in a "Illegal code in image link" message.) From there, I right-clicked on the image and chose "properties." That showed me the URL to the pic. I then just cut and pasted the URL into this message, and voila' :

22. Thanks :)
Oh cool - thanks for the tips on how to insert a pic.

And a big hello to everyone for the nice welcome. I've been a lurker for a little while... didn't dawn on me to just get my own account. I've been turning my friends on to this site as well, so hopefully, DU will see a few more new users over the next few weeks.

23. Hello!
yes - I think this is one of her recent best cartoons. It reminds me of Fantasia, in a way.

25. Benson, Oliphant, Catrow draws an insanely funny *
Benson, great style, and in the middle of conservative nut-job central.

Oliphant is the master. He infuriated Bush the Elder with him carrying a purse and in a dress. He pens a wickedly funny Michael Jackson.

Catrow's * is probably the most over the top with his drawings. I crack up when I see his. The "Incurious George" is perfection.
