New Rules trap old Immigrants with Old Secrets - Marijuana convicts
http://www.mpp.org/USA/news_7477.html

Carl Hiassen, a atlented, entertaining author and reporter for the Miami Herald, writes about two cases where Ashcroft's goons are targetting 20 yr old drug convictions as the reason to deport legal immigrants.

Probation 20 yrs ago for one joint, and how they want to throw him out of the country? This is insane. Then again, so is Ashcroft.

My recommendation? Join MPP and DU, donate $$$ and make this travesty know far and wide.

Know people that spent 3yrs.+ for few doobs, but senator that kills with car gets 11 months.

3. great point
Whatever happened to rational thought?

Does the ass really think that he can go back 20 years in he wayback machine and throw people out of the country?

Sheesh, i did things 20 yrs ago i am not proud of. Well, now, wait. Come to think of it, yes I am, on second thought. hmmm. Still, this is a crazy policy driven by crazed people.

So youthful indescretions explain Shrub's dazed and confused adulthood, while a legal immigrant loses, job, family, house, future. great. my parents are immigrants, and dammit, if this slime will destroy their elderly future.
