who is with another of those RW Think Tank Revisionist History organizations where they redid a study of how historians rank Presidents. Taranto said they had done the study because they thought the former studies that were done on Presidents were "biased" (James Schlesinger (JFK) had done the last one, and that Reagan had moved up from 20 something to number 8. Bill Clinton had moved down into the 20's as a mediocre President. The anchor who seemed like a clueless bimbo kept referring to the Presidents as "These Guys" and it was really nauseating how Taratino was blatently saying that the other polls were "biased" but his is "accurate."

The anchor asked him how Dumbya rated (can you believe she thought that HISTORIANS could rate Dumbya since he's STILL P-Resident???) and Taratino said, "The study was before he became President."

So, they drag out a study done by a Conservative Think Tank that was done before Bush became P-Resident, making it sound like it's new and and Taranto is practically admitting that they didn't like the other studies because Reagan didn't do as well, so they redid it to make it more favorable!

CNN has Descended into the Debths of Propaganda where few have dared to go before except in the former Soviet Union. They've sunk so low one can only laugh hysterically at their ignorance.

1. As harsh as your comments are,

they understate the grotesqueness of that interview. It was light years beyond disgusting. Of course, this is business as usual for the US media. They are the propaganda arm of those with power and their goal, as Chomsky points out most convincingly, is the manufacture of consent to keep the rest of us docile.

Bush I was ranked 21, Clinton was ranked 24, and the Dope, per Tranatino, was not ranked, but has a real possibility of being considered one of the great ones. This is like saying dog crap has the possibility of being considered filet mignon. That Tarantino was allowed to present his spew without a single tough question tells one all one needs to know about CNN.

a week boycotting Reagan's long funeral, and it was like getting a huge wallop in the gut, seeing that piece of trash. I did wonder if I was "over-reacting." Glad to know I wasn't. ;-)
