I have read so much about his struggle for acceptance and approval from the family, particularly Ronnie. Perhaps his embrace of his father's politics is the only way he could get in good with Ronnie. What do you think?

1. totally
The only way it seems he could be close to his father was to be a con. BTW he was an ass last night and his eulogy was insufferable. Ron did a good job of putting Him and Bush in check. Michael appears to suffer from an inferiority complex.

2. I think someone offered him a whole lotta money.....
to have a change of heart. What better spokesman for their cause
than Reagan's son? It seems utterly cynical to me. He was vitually
guaranteed success if he wen't along with the Right's program.

You know he has his own radio show, and gets stuff he has written
puplished in Conservative forums, right?

7. Isn't Nancy's family Democrat?

I could be wrong, but I believe that's a fact...I understand she just took on the Republican mantle after she married Reagan...

8. No.
Her family was prominently Pubbie (and well off). Ronnie didn't turn until after his marriage to Nancy. Thank God their children turned out okay.

Michael, OTOH...isn't Newsmax his baby? :puke: I don't think his freeper mentality is an act.
