Doesn't it seem like a long, long time since we had a real president? |
|
it occurred to me when I saw Clinton on TV at his portrait unveiling - I can't believe it's been less than four years since we had a real president; honestly, it feels like a lifetime.

In spite of his "pickle in history" remark to * (featured on The Daily Show last night), Bill is a class act (publicly, at least!) IMHO and I miss him. Can't wait to read his book.

Jon Stewart just chuckled and said something about Clinton's pickle already having gone down in history. I think I get that...but then I'm pretty old! :)

I watched him speak on cspan at KU. It almost brought tears to my eyes, he spoke without pause, stutter, uhms, delivering a thoughtful, well reasoned speech. Damn, I want a president who can think and speak in complete sentences again.

I utterly despised Reagan but I never thought he was not my president. And no, a Bush "victory" would not count; that bastard should be in JAIL.
