Shrub just plugged Pigboy in speech!
I can't believe his handlers okayed that. He's blabbering on to his crowd at McDill AFB about how "far" Iraq has come, and the idiot said, "They even have talk radio now...I wonder if anybody's told Rush?"
I don't believe this f**king moron is in charge here!
:grr: :grr: :grr:

1. there have been petitions to get Rush off Armed Forces radio
over there. This must be monkey boy's slap at that effort and annointing it as A-OK in his book.

3. Of course Bush
would put in a plug for Rush. I'm sure he wants everyone in Iraq, particularly the soldiers, to hear non stop shilling for his misadministration.

He really is shameless.

6. Here's the transcript and here's the "quip"
I had the quote off a bit from memory.
http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2004/06/20040616-4.html

"Fourteen months have passed since the fall of Baghdad. And today, in spite of terrorist insurgency, Iraq's economy is moving forward. Markets are beginning to thrive; new businesses have opened; a stable new currency is in place. Dozens of political parties are organizing. Hundreds of courts of law are opening across the country. Today in Iraq, more than 170 newspapers are being published, and I saw the other day that they've even got talk radio. I don't know if they've contacted Rush yet." (Laughter.)
