The fight happened last Thursday while Jenna Bush was vacationing with some friends in the coastal city of Tarifa, continental Europe's southernmost point and a famous destination for wind surfers, embassy spokesman John Law said.

The 22-year-old Bush was sitting at a hotel terrace when two men tried to steal a cell phone on a nearby table. Law said it wasn't clear to whom the cell phone belonged, but Bush's bodyguards reacted immediately.

One secret service agent punched one of the suspects in the mouth, Law said, adding that he had no other details of the altercation.

He could not confirm reports by state news agency Efe that one of the secret service agents pointed his gun at a suspect.

3. hey what happened to her humanitarian walk

she was suppose to be on in this country. sittin on some balconey doesnt sound like sweat and exercise and mess and camping out ect.......bah ha haha

4. A friend of mine was a bouncer at an Austin club where the twins

were arrested for underage drinking. He said the cops showed up and tried to arrest them, and everyone just sat there without moving, until one of the cops grabbed one of the twins. SS agents leaped up from all over and pointed guns at the cops, prompting a lot of people to leave quickly.

I've run into SS agents a few times for various reasons. They have no sense of humor on duty, but I'd be surprised if they would interfere in a petty robbery that had nothing to do with the people they were protecting.

Seems like performing basic law enforcement (esp in another country?) duties would interfere with their maintaining focus on the protectee and surroundings, y'know?
