3. Tucker rhythms with...*ucker! If all the Republicans were no longer
allowed to use the phrase anti-American, the media outlets would go silent. I don't agree with you, you're anti-American. I'm going to call my dad that. Hell, I think the next pet I get I'm going to name Anti-American. I'm going to legally change my name to anti-American while standing in court with nothing on but a flag. It's not even an insult anymore it's so over-used. Name calling and character assassination are all the conservatives have these days. Berate you if they can't debate you...OH MAN..that's good:

Republicans will berate you if they can't debate you! New bumper sticker.

should be enough for anybody that believes in any free speech to detest him too.

He's the anti-American, everyday since 2000 he's spent his time defending traitors. It's coming baby, it's coming.

5. Tucker: "Daycare isnt good for children".
On Kerry's plan for more daycare so parents can go to work.
He mentioned something about a govt employee staring at the TV being bad for your kid.
WTF :wtf:

17. Rick Santorum blamed Columbine...
on the fact that the mothers of the boys did not stay at home to raise them. I can't remember the exact year, but it was at a commencement address at LaRoche College here in Pittsburgh.

Both my parents worked full-time, I never shot up my school. And I watched Bugs Bunny and never shoved a firecracker up a duck's ass.

Somewhere the right got the idea that children were made of sugar and couldn't get along without their parents constantly coddling them.

I can't believe how much my head hurts when I listen to this drivel.

43. And of course it was the avarice of Republicans that has
reduced living wages and benefits to the extent that both parents MUST work to maintain the home.

abortion is bad. Apparently there is no alternative for single parents or those who aren't filthy rich.

But so what are POOR women supposed to do? work and abandon
children at home because there isn't any more welfare? Or stay at home and not eat?
Middle class people need help with good child care too.

28. Well I agree that daycare isn't great for kids
but it has nothing to do with the government.

And he might fill us in on how single mothers are supposed to provide for their children, since he's decided that daycare isn't good enough for them.

Edited on Wed Jun-16-04 03:54 PM by lovedems
I got this in an email.

Wanted for Attempted Murder (The actual AP headline)

Linda Burnett, 23, was visiting her in-laws, and while there went to a nearby supermarket to pick up some groceries.
Several people noticed her sitting in her car with the windows rolled up and with her eyes closed, with both hands behind the back of her head.

One customer who had been at the store for a while became concerned and walked over to the car. He noticed that Linda's eyes were now open, and she looked very strange. He asked her if she was okay, and Linda replied that she'd been shot in the back of the head, and had been holding her brains in for over an hour.

The man called the paramedics, who broke into the car because the doors were locked and Linda refused to remove her hands from her head.

When they finally got in, they found that Linda had a wad of bread dough on the back of her head. A Pillsbury biscuit canister had exploded from the heat, making a loud noise that sounded like a gunshot, and the wad of dough hit her in the back of her head. When she reached back to find out what it was, she felt the dough and thought it was her brains. She initially passed out, but quickly recovered and tried to hold her brains in for over an hour until someone noticed and came to her aid.

And, yes, Linda is a blonde

Eeeegads.Melanie Morgan is a talk show host here in the SF Bay area- she helped get Arnie into office with her screeds. Come November when we have a new president she'll have something to cry about again.

41. She's awful
All the 2003 RW nonsense about "Anti-American this" and "support the troops that". She is awful.

Wish someone would ask her:

a. What have you done or currently doing to 'support the troops'? It's a lot more than waving pom-poms. And, as Trent Lott once said, "We can support the troops without supporting the president". Mus have missed that directive.

b. Why is free speech 'un-American'? And just how is MM's work going to put the troops in danger?

She reminds me of the soccer mom from hell. Ick!

25. Tuckhead ONLY asked Arianna questions about quotes of Moore
all taken from a February New Yorker piece

not ONE question about the movie

then, when she tried to answer, he immediately shouted over her

he's doing it again!

not one question about the movie

neither he nor that skanko have seen the movie

30. I've said this before, but that reaally is IT for Xfire
NOT ONE QUESTION was asked or discussed about the movie

Carlson asked ONLY questions based on Moore quotes, one of them attributed to Moore's saying that we went to Iraq to benefit Israel, when it was an AUDIENCE member who responded to Moore's question (he played a tape) about who they thought most benefited from the invasion!

complete and utter dishonesty by Carlson, as usual

and this guy is getting his own show on PBS?

this was truly a new low.....course he sets one with each succeeding show

transcript of this fiasco is a must

you won't believe it

IMO it's just there to ensure the divide stays in place.

I would prefer to see serious discussions of issues, not people lying and distracting and shouting each other down.

Less comedy, more substance, please!

Has Carville or Huffington brought up the Move America Forward group?

35. course not.....they spend their time getting shouted over and being
interrupted by Carlson and that douchebucket

that's Carlson's only tactic......ask an irrelevant question, then, after about five seconds, start shouting over his opponent, whether it's the co-host or guest

truly unwatchable

and, again, PBS is giving this sideshow barker his OWN FORUM?

don't they have enough wingnuts on that channel already?

I wish I'd pledged to them, so I could call them up and rescind, giving them the straw on camel's back reason for doing so.
