One more little sign that times are changing

I brought the car in for scheduled service today - it's an Audi, and the dealership also sells/services Porsche, Mercedes, and BMW. On the back window of my car is a "Re-elect Bush? You're joking, right?" sticker - I figured I'd be the only car at the dealership sharing this sentiment.

Looking into the service bays, there sits another (new) Audi with a "War is not the answer" sticker. Two bays down, another Audi, with "Plant a Bush back in Texas."

Outside, waiting, is a 911(!) with a Kerry sticker. Inside the BMW bay is ANOTHER Kerry sticker, on a 525. This is in Maryland, fer cryin' out loud!

I was hoping to find the owners, but no luck with that. Still, I'm feelin' good about what I saw.

Oh, my rental car was a Dodge Neon with no satellite radio, so I caught both Pigboy and Insannity on the way home. PB was operating in full throated pre-pubescent high pitched mile a minute whine today - obviously he made his connection. He was insane - actually admitting that Bush should hold press conferences, talk for 10-15 minutes about what HE wants to, and then (literally) blow off the reporters questions and work in Iraq "good stuff" into his answers.

Hannity is/was/forever shall be nuts. Broadcasting from a (military?) ship somewhere, he was babbling on about the incredible bias of 60 Minutes, doing a lame Clinton impression, and speaking to an audience of about 7 people, half of whom were booing him.

Anyone else catch these two idiots today?

2. I have a
No More Bushit sticker on my car. And my husband has Re-Defeat Bush on his. We live in Kansas. I rarely see a sticker supportive of the regime. Kerry stickers are occasionally to be seen, but outnumbered by various anti-war, anti-Bush ones. I'm sure it's just a matter of time. Why bother with a Kerry sticker when you can express your feeling more strongly?

4. I have one more sticker

that I haven't put on yet, but I might. Don't know how many non-boomers will "get it."

"Bush/Cheney: In your guts, you know they're nuts"

10. Hilarious! Aw, MAN!
There's a "Frodo Failed - bush got the ring" a couple of blocks down from us. Saw an "Outsource bush" and more Kerry stickers here and there, too. And they're on all kinds of cars and even a couple of SUVs.

3. I live in a liberal city
but my street is pretty working class/immigrant. Some yellow ribbons for troops down one way.

But down the other way there is a small toyota truck, that had sticker about Bush on it for awhile. The other day, I got a look.

Impeach that son of a Bush.

Truckdrivers can be patriots too!

7. My stickers are for Kerry and DU, but
I have one sitting on my desk that says "It's you, Stupid", but admit I don't have the nerve to put it on the car just yet. Maybe closer to November.

9. Out in Republicanland
I live in an incredibly Republican area so it's fun to piss off the masses with my Dean bumper sticker smack in the middle of my bumper. To the left (of course), I know have my "In an arranged marriage with John Kerry, still in love with Howard Dean" sticker and on the other side my Mary Squires for US Senate.
I've been heckled more than once, but it's worth it when you flash them the peace sign and see them get pissed off.

Superduty, Powerstroke, 444 cubic inches, 8,000+ pounds, and a Kerry for President sticker right in the middle of the rear window for all the world to see, it almost, but not quite, blocks out sight of the gun rack.

17. Hey, with your screen name

don't think I don't believe it. :)

I bought my truck (Nissan Frontier) because it is the only truck in its class with a real crew cab and a FULL 6' bed.

Other trucks are too big for Mrs. DB to drive, and I do like the ability to occasionally drive BY a gas station, instead of driving into one. :)

19. My two favorite stickers from a recent road trip...
a) Poorly hand written on the back window of an SUV in white shoe polish: "We support and respect President Bush" General consensus in our car was that it looked pretty desperate!

b) "Bush is a punk-ass chump!"
