Dick Cheney is Underscrutinized and Underexposed
Sure, he has a large and vocal share of opponents, but I think he has largely escaped popular identification as the chief architect and prime mover of the criminal Bush agenda.

With the flood of popular Bush opposition literature out there, where are the critical biographies and studies of Cheney? Am I missing these?

Hell, where's the documentary expose (a la F 9/11) on Cheney?

This gap needs to be filled.

Cheney is the evil.

1. He's evil indeed, although he's not the prime evil by far.
That's our continuing dependence on oil as our primary source of energy. Our oil dependency is what continues to drive our foreign policy, and puts our troops in the midst of deadly situations in the Middle East. Our oil dependency is what has made the Texas oil companies and the Texas GOP so damned powerful. If we can ever manage to break these people, and break our addiction to oil, it would be like pulling the plug on Dick Cheney, who has been empowered by Big Oil and Eisenhower's millitary-industrial complex.

2. I agree
But what I mean is that he is the most powerful single individual in the military-petroleum complex. In other words, he is, I think, the CEO of evil!

5. Cheney is a lot of things, but dumb isn't one of them
Nobody is ever going to get the best of Cheney in an interview or debate. He is just wickedly quick and smart. Look what he did to Joe.
Yes, he's evil. Yes, he's a lot of things. But he's smart as a whip, and that's what makes him so dangerous.

7. Evil is not necessary brilliant.
Evil is more boring, banal and common than brilliant.

4. Dumb or Brilliantly Evil
I always thought Cheney was the mastermind behind Bush, brilliant in the most evil and manipulative way. I can't tell you how often these days people tell me he is far from the brains. I recently had an insider to the administration over for dinner and asked him who calls the shots. He insisted it is all Bush and that Bush is a big, reckless cowboy character. I'm still convinced. Bush seems so stupid and brainless.

11. Dick
he may be the brains behind bush--but I think his wife is the brains behind him! She is truly a very smart woman (and a frightening conservative--racist)---and I bet she pulls his strings plenty behind the scenes.

I think a lot of R men are married to women who are much smarter than them--for example Dan Quayle--a man who makes Shrub look like a genius--his wife is quite sharp. Makes you wonder how the R women stand it. There must just not be much good to choose from--as far as R men.

12. sorry, but you have your simile reversed
dumbo makes QUAYLE look like a genius

he was actually a functioning entity as a Senator, and Teddy Kennedy had a certain amount of respect for him in that capacity......they were pals, as well

that's not saying much, but DQ is MUCH more on top of things than our Chimperial Highness
