I need a good anti-bush t-shirt... pronto! |
|
Ok, can anybody point me in the right direction here? I'm going to F/911 this friday and need a good anti-bush tshirt. I'm looking for scathing, but without profanity if possible. What's your fave, and can you get it online? Thx in advance!

Yep, you fooled me into looking at that horrible propaganda site. Savage is as savage does. Right? Ditto?
You know, you should WARN PEOPLE before linking graphic photos! Shame on you!
But thanks for the info nonetheless. I will make it a point to write to numerous newspapers, television stations, FCC, and radio shows about this brutal and un-American website.
You see, this how it works: A neo-Nazi does something overtly stupid, then empathic and conscientious Americans react immediately by putting the pen to the paper. This is how we are going to defeat "The Enemy Within."
Thank you for giving me an idea and purpose when I go on vacation from school in a week. I promise you that I will dedicate myself to spreading the word about this "savage" ASAP. In fact, I'll call a radio station tonight and one tomorrow before class.
Boy! I can't wait to start this new project!
PS. I don’t expect troglodytes to understand, so don’t waste the time trying. Oh by the way, tri-acting generic ointment is really good and a cheap alternative for bleeding knuckle sores.

29. What a great idea, Swamp_Rat! |
|
That's sort of what I do when I see 3 or 4 obviously unemployed souls protesting in front of Planned Parenthood offices (whether abortions are performed there or not).
I always thank them for pointing out to the public-at-large that this is a place where women can get information about and treatment for their reproductive health needs.
Without their vigils, a lot of women wouldn't know that these are places where women can seek and receive (legal) treatment and counseling.
Funny, they always look confused when I thank them.

31. It confuses and defuses them |
|
They don't know how to react, and it keeps me from getting angry at their ignorance as well.
Speaking of abortion, I was listening to Ray Taliaferro on KGO AM San Francisco this morning (via the internet), when some guy called and accused Ray of supporting the Iraqis that are getting slaughtered, but not the unborn children "murdered by abortionists." Ray told him exactly what I usually tell these creeps, "I am a man and it's none of my business."
I like this statement because it removes me from the framework of their argument. I always tell 'em, "hey, since I am a man, I feel it is not my business to tell a woman what to do with her body." They tend to sputter, " but but, YOU advocate murder of innocent babies?" I'll cut them off by saying, "no sir, you are NOT listening to me. I didn't say that at all. I said that I am pro-choice. We apparently disagree. Good day to you, and thank you for bringing up this important issue concerning freedom of choice that we hold dear in America."
Ha ha! They can't seem to wrap their little minds around that one!
Your response is EXCELLENT!

for store bought delivery. I'd recommend you buy yourself a t, and print out one of the many anti-bush slogans/pics you can find online, print it out on iron-on transfer paper on your shirt. There are also crayon/pencils at hobby shops that you can use.

36. Please don't recommend stealing |
|
Seriously...I am sure you didn't intend to advocate such, but think about what you just suggested; you might not have time to get what you want, so steal it from someone else. That is in effect what you suggested. Deprive an artist or indi from his measly few bucks profit, if he's even making a profit, just because it is convenient. How about suggesting the original poster make up his own artwork or slogan, just like the rest of us did, then creating the shirts himself? All of my artwork is original and I'd be bummed if my potential customers thought I did all that work just so I could give it away for free!

if you're not selling someone else's brainiacness of slogans for profit, what's the harm? The message should be more important than profit, especially in these times, no?
