What President Al Franken did in classroom on 9/11.

He says he would have been out of the classroom on 9/11 in about 15 seconds without alarming the kids. His monologue went something like this:

"Hey Kids, Something has come up. I gotta go back to Air Force One and be President, but guess what? This class is going to the White House! We're going to figure out a way to get you a trip there in a month or two"

President Franken exits the classroom.

Immediately to aides: "What are we doing? Can we shoot them down?"

would have CANCELLED his little photo op and tended to the nightmare.

Bush knew of the first tower being hit by a hijacked commercial plane before he left for the school. He never should have set foot in that classroom, let alone stay there.
