Heads up for those who want to see Big Dog on Oprah
Was just flipping thru the channels on my way to find out if CourtTv has my favorite forensic shows on tonight and came across Oprah-After The Show on Oxygen. Unfortunately, it was about to go off, BUT it will be repeated at 10:30 Eastern time on Oxygen tonight, and also at 1:30 a.m. Eastern time if you can't catch it then :)

6. No, but looking at the way I titled the original post
Big Dog on Oprah? Provoked a few unwanted visuals that I just didn't need :scared:

7. Thanks for the info, I missed most of it yesterday...I really didn't like
the way Oprah was treating him at one point in the interview. Actually I thought she was almost being disrespectful to him as her quest on the show. She kept cutting him off before he could finish answering a question. I really wish I had gotten to see all of it.
Maybe it wasn't as bad as it seemed. Then again...

8. I never watch Oprah, so I can't swear to this
But I believe this is a thing that they do after the show, once the show is in the can. Anyone know?

9. For some reason a lot of the so called "liberal" anchors
are being disrespectful to Clinton this week. I just heard Katie Couric's interview on MSNBC and she was downright rude. I didn't know she could be a bitch. She was interrupting him not letting him finish his explanations. She also had the nerve to assume that everyone will check the index of his book and look under L for Lewinsky. HOW IN THE HELL DOES SHE KNOW THAT?! Katie pissed me off with that comment!!

11. I really think a lot of the media's "true colors" are showing. I missed
the interview with Katie Couric but it sounded so much like the what little I saw on Oprah. I also resent the fact that all the media has done this week is talk about Monica Lewinsky and the "affair". We all know it happened...but I am so tired of hearing about it.
They sum up one of the best presidents we've ever had in a 15 minute interview about Monica L. Like this is all his 8 years was about. It is so very demeaning to him.

Her statement.."everyone will check the index of his book and look under L for Lewinsky." This is just what they did to him when he was president. Disrespect and belittle the man his whole eight years. They make me so mad. :grr:

13. Katie is a Bush family suck up..
she's slated to be inducted into the Hall of Fame of news anchors. She really doesn't deserve the honor. She sure as hell isn't the caliber interviewer/journalist of Walter Cronkite or Barbara Walters..

What she does well, is shop and protect Bush rear.

14. You're kidding, right?
>What she does well, is shop and protect Bush rear.<

Katie Couric's sister was in politics and was a well-known Democrat. Katie went after Bush 1 on live national television re: Iran-Contra. It was beautiful, and she was a pit bull in a dress during that interview. She's come down on the side of the Dems more times than not.

I'm not thrilled that she asked Bill Clinton questions about Monica Lewinsky, but did anyone think she wouldn't? Isn't that what her audience is tuning in for? I think Bill Clinton's taking the blame (and the high road,) re: Monica will put a lot of this to rest. He has apologized, and he says he wishes her well. There's no story left, essentially.

Before Katie's written off as a Bush apologist, perhaps we should all be thankful that she gets in the face of our guys as equally as she does the other side. The other guys have less of an opportunity to scream "bias," and our guys have to prove their points.

I also hope she sees "Fahrenheit 9/11," I'll be interested to hear what she thinks of it.

Julie

17. No, I'm not kidding. I'm happy to know she has one fan...
Katie was written off long ago. I have never seen her fairly interview a democrat, ever. Katie is June Cleaver on crack..only difference is, June Cleaver had better legs.

15. It's fantastic!
I'm still watching it and this is the interview I wish he'd gotten the other day - from anyone. He's discussing terrorism and conflict in the context of human history. And he mentioned the span of human history starting when we began in Africa 100,000+ years ago. Wow! The camera panned the audience and they were captivated by his reassuring and confident message.

16. "Nobody goes to Philadelphis, Mississipi by accident"
Although he liked Reagan, that starting of Reagan's campaign in Philadelphia hurt him as a southern white guy.
