A question regarding Chris "I Gargle with Single-Malt" Hitchens... |
|
and F911:
He has recently written a lengthy review of the film, one that is windier than a race horse raised on an all-bean diet. The question is: How did he get to see the film and who showed it to him?
Call me mad, call me impetuious, but I just don't see MM calling him up and saying "Hey Hitch! I just got in a truckload of Glenfiddach! Howzabout you coming over and I'll show you the movie in advance, so you can cut it to ribbons".
Nope. Just don't play.

1. You already know the answer. |
|
Apparently, Hitchens, Hannity, and the rest of the Reich have the unique ability to refute something without knowing exactly what it is.

he sounded like he knew exactly what's screened, frame by frame. I'd like to see Hitch and Rex Reed in a cat-fight!!!! Unlikely, too, is the suggestion MM and Hitch debate. Why would MM ever subject himself to that?!

that a middle-class, red-blooded lout like Moore is upstaging him as liberal spokesperson.
Hard to tell whether he saw the film. Challenges Hitch's POV that we're doing the Iraqis a huge wonderful favor, and judging by his defensive posturing, it is a successful challenge.

5. He could have maybe gone along with someone who |
|
was actually invited to the new york premire. Ya gotta remember that he writes for Vanity Fair and i know that Graydon Carter must have been there, he hates Bush. He proably got in via VF.

7. Hitchens is an inveterate liar. He makes a living posing as a liberal. |

Every now and then he'll take an innocent liberal position to gussy up his lib credentials. But on the important issues he always makes the rounds of the talk shows pretending to be a "liberal spokesman" and blasting everything we're about in defiance of all reason.
He is an insipid, traitorous asshole.

8. Snuck into a critics' screening? |
|
They do have those. That's why so many critics have written reviews.
